A practical meeting plan for finance clubs, interns, and sponsored candidates studying for the Series 7 together.
Read. Recall. Practice. Rehearse.

Group rule
Review misses by rule, not by answer letter.
A useful study group forces each miss back to the customer fact, product feature, formula, or rule that caused it. Raw score comparison is secondary.
Week 1
Diagnostic and map
Take the free diagnostic, compare missed topics, and assign each person one high-friction chapter to preview.
Weeks 2-3
Products and accounts
Review customer accounts, equities, debt, municipal bonds, and investment companies with short public drills.
Weeks 4-5
Options and margin
Use formula pages and topic drills so every member can explain the setup, not just the final answer.
Weeks 6-8
Mixed practice
Run timed mixed sets, log repeat misses, and move into full simulations when the core map is stable.
Meeting agenda
A repeatable 45-minute session
- 1. Open with one diagnostic or practice miss from each member.
- 2. Name the tested rule before discussing the answer.
- 3. Explain why each wrong answer was tempting.
- 4. Assign the related public page or product chapter for repair.
- 5. End with one timed set or flashcard block before the next meeting.

What group work should feed into
PassSeries7 full access includes a 436-page handbook, 385 flashcards, 1,000 approved practice and exam questions, and a 125-question timed exam simulation. Group study should identify weak topics, then each member still needs individual timed reps.

FAQ
Study group questions
How many people should be in a Series 7 study group?
Three to six people is usually enough for useful discussion without turning review into a lecture. Larger groups should split into topic pods.
Should a group take full simulations together?
No. Sit full simulations individually under timed conditions, then review missed topics together after everyone has finished.
What should the group track?
Track repeated misses by topic, not just raw scores. Options, margin, suitability, municipal bonds, and customer accounts are good tracking buckets.
Can public pages replace the full product?
No. Public pages are useful for diagnostic and topic repair. Full access adds the textbook, flashcards, mapped question bank, and full exam simulator.
